Carnival in Crisis

The Aldeburgh Carnival needs you.
Can you spare a few hours to help on Carnival Day?

Last year the Carnival celebrated its 60th Anniversary over a very successful weekend. However, the committee was stretched to the limit. We need more help from people who have an hour or two spare during the weekend, but particularly on Carnival Day, Monday 18 August 2003.

We have jobs to suit everyone - car parking, stewarding, marshalling, moving barriers and equipment, selling draw tickets, helping with catering - If you want to find out more, e-mail:

The Carnival would not happen without people participating in the carnival and lantern processions. On average, £2000 is donated each year to local charities and organisations.
