ALDEBURGH
LIFEBOATS
|

The boats are crewed by local people who,
apart from the coxswain and mechanic, are all volunteers.
|
|
Lifeboats have been stationed at Aldeburgh since 1851 and have
always been a fabric of the Town’s life. When the call comes for
the Lifeboat boat, either boat can be launched in between 8-12
minutes.
